Bryant-Denny Stadium Renovations
University of Alabama
The 2020 renovations of Bryant-Denny Stadium, co-designed by Davis Architects and HOK, focused on enhancing both the fan experience and team facilities. The project introduced three new club areas and added 3,826 premium seats, along with new skyboxes on the east side and various private suites, clubs, and loge boxes on the west side, catering to diverse spectator needs.
Team facilities also saw substantial upgrades, including a redesigned locker room and a unique team entry tunnel with audiovisual elements that add energy to the pregame experience. To better support the university's football program, the renovation relocated the press box and improved recruiting areas, boosting the program’s recruitment efforts.
Improvements extended to the stadium concourses and student areas, making movement easier and enhancing the game-day atmosphere for students. This comprehensive upgrade, covering approximately 135,000 square feet, was delivered on an $86.6 million budget, with construction beginning in November 2019 and finishing by August 2020.
