Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium

Jacksonville State University

A new home for the future of the Gamecocks baseball program.

Rudy Abbot Field has been the home of the Jacksonville State Gamecocks baseball team since 1995. With over 60 years of team history, including three recent OVC Tournament Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances, it was time for a facility that reflected such a powerful program.

The new Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium now seats over 1,000 spectators. New dugouts and bullpens provide a welcoming home for the Gamecocks and visiting team alike, while an open concourse with expansive views of the playing field offers spectators a plethora of opportunities to cheer on their side. Fans can relax with new concessions and restrooms, while kids and adults can play on the new left-field berm. Seven private suites, including one enlarged President’s Suite, run along the first baseline. A modern press box facilitates excellent media coverage like never before.

The project also added a one-stop operations and team complex. The team has quick access to their locker room, training room, lounge, study area, team meeting room, and indoor batting facility. The coaches and staff also have a dedicated locker room and offices.
