Samford Hall was originally constructed in 1954 and was the first building on Samford University’s campus. Samford Hall’s renovation included a full redesign of the mechanical and plumbing systems as well as redesign of the space serving university’s administrative faculty. The second level of the building was maintained to preserve its traditional characteristics, while the ground floor was completely renovated to meet the changing needs of the university. The second level houses the presidents and provost of the university and the renovation included an addition of technology upgrades to the Board Room and subsequent conference rooms. The third level was renovated and fully revitalized for the administrative staff to allow them to function more efficiently.
